At 32 weeks, your baby is about 17 inches long and weighs close to 4 pounds. After 30 weeks,
babies start going head down but don’t worry if your baby is still breech. Doctors don’t care if your baby
is head up or down until 36 weeks. Your baby still has plenty of time to go head down and they can flip
head down in an instant. I’ve watched babies go head down on ultrasound and it only took a couple of
seconds. If you are a plus sized woman, this is the week I usually have those ladies come in for their 3D
ultrasound. I want the extra tummy tissue to be stretched a little thinner to get those clear images. If
you have your 3D/4D ultrasound done at this stage, you must drink 6 bottles of water every day for 6
days to push the womb walls away from your baby’s face.
