3D ultrasound is a medical imaging technique that uses high-frequency sound waves to create a three-dimensional image of a developing fetus in the womb. Unlike traditional 2D ultrasound, which produces a flat, two-dimensional image, 3D ultrasound allows doctors and parents to see the baby’s features in greater detail, including its facial features, limbs, and internal organs. This technology has become increasingly popular for prenatal care, as it provides more detailed information about the baby’s health and development. Baby Dimensions was one of the first elective studios south of Atlanta, opening our doors in 2007!
